Sonia Rykiel pour H&M in Paris

H&M invited 200 press people and bloggers from all around the globe along 2000 other attending guests for the Sonia Rykiel pour H&M event at the Grand Palais in Paris to preview the upcoming Sonia Rykiel x H&M underwear and knitwear collection. They re-created the Parisian district Saint Germain and turned it into Sonia Rykiel's vision of a fairy-tale. After a few rounds through this wonderland, a big fashion parade took place and we were seated under a 25 meter Eiffel Tower. I'm calling it a parade, because it was so much more than just a fashion show with models on beds, swings, leaning at walls and dancing to electronic remixes of Swedish music (mainly ABBA) – but I will let my pictures speak for themselves.

The after-party was going on until 2am in the morning, where I spotted Alice Dellal and Gaspard from Justice in the crowd while other VIPs such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Ellen von Unwerth, Emmanuelle Béart and Eva Herzigova decided to stay in the closed VIP area. I also got to know some fellow bloggers from Germany like Jessie from Les Mads, Camilla, and Anne but also Marisa from Switzerland. You will find more picture of the event on their blogs as well.
In the end, I want to say a big THANK YOU to H&M for the invitation, because they flew me in and let me stay at one of the nicest hotels in Paris (Le Meurice) – but also to René Zibold in particular from H&M Switzerland, who was perfectly organised and made sure that every invitee had a pleasurable stay.
